This innovative, FDA-cleared diagnostic test enables noninvasive evaluation of gastrointestinal motility by analyzing intestinal gas patterns and other parameters as the capsule travels naturally through the patient’s gastrointestinal tract.

The Atmo Gas Capsule is a swallowable capsule that measures gas levels and movement throughout the digestive tract as it naturally travels through your system. Unlike traditional motility tests, this capsule collects real-time data during everyday activities, offering valuable insights into how your gut functions outside of a clinical setting.

How the capsule works

After the capsule is swallowed, it wirelessly transmits information about gas patterns and gut activity to a small wearable receiver. The capsule passes naturally through the digestive tract and is expelled during a bowel movement. No sedation, scopes, radiation, or invasive testing are required.
